This striking, quirky coffee table is the work of
Melbourne based visual artist / designer / maker Elliot Gorham of Noddy Boffin.
The tabletop is produced from solid Oak, while the "Stage Legs" are produced
from powder-coated steel. Elliot feels that the "Stage Legs" are the furniture equivalent of "Jazz hands". These folded steel legs are reminiscent of Queen Anne style legs, except with a modern, geometric shape. Stage Legs get their name from the idea of the negative space [formed when curtains are drawn on stage]. Please note that while "Stage legs" are available in two standard colours, deep blue and aubergine, they can also be powder-coated in alternate colours, however, a surcharge may apply.
